I build mobile products and the systems behind them.

I'm Jerome Jumah, a software engineer based in Nairobi working across mobile and full-stack development. My strongest experience is in cross-platform mobile applications, backed by hands-on work in web interfaces, backend systems, APIs and production deployments.

I've worked on communication products, property technology, e-commerce and business software, taking features from implementation through testing, release and production support.

01 · NOW

Building mobile products, end to end.

At InterIntel Technologies, I work primarily on mobile products while contributing across the stack when the product requires it. My work includes building and improving production applications, integrating backend services, handling releases across iOS and Android, investigating production issues, and helping shape technical implementation across the mobile team.

I also contribute to web and backend work, which lets me follow features beyond the application layer and understand how the full product fits together.

Before this, I worked on Rent Hub, a property-management platform for landlords, managers and tenants, contributing across the mobile application and backend services.

MOBILE
Flutter, Dart, React Native, iOS & Android production releases, platform integrations and production debugging
FRONTEND & BACKEND
React, TypeScript / JavaScript, Node.js, Django, Python, REST and GraphQL APIs
DATA & CLOUD
PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase, Supabase, Google Cloud Platform
DELIVERY
Git / GitHub workflows, CI/CD, automated testing, deployment workflows, production debugging and monitoring
ARCHITECTURE
System and API design, data modelling, authentication and authorization, application architecture, maintainability and scalability

My workflow is increasingly AI-assisted: I use coding agents for exploration, prototyping and automation, while treating architecture, review and maintainability as engineering responsibilities rather than generated output.

Outside work, I build independent products through Code4Flare, where I experiment with product ideas across e-commerce, property technology, personal finance and developer tools. It gives me room to work from idea and design through implementation and release.
